I found this game fun and challenging and its kind of like kerbal space program with planes

Im not very happy that the developers neglected to update, but updated the steam version…

I love this game alot. But when I got this update i couldn’t upload planes. Many of you have the same problem so I was the first one to report to the forums and a dev said a few days and the new update would come and fix the problem where we couldn’t download planes. Just typing this post so you don’t get made and vote 1 star.

Whenever I try to download planes it gives me an error. It seems as if the developers have forgotenn about about OSX because despite me trying to contact them they never respond and the weird thing is is that the developers are a small team, so you would think that the response time would be greater than it is. If this was a AAA developer I would expect this to happen. But still this is one of the best games that I’ve played and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a light flying simulator.

Its kinda pissing me off because all the good vehicles are out and I cant download!

Now I can upload planes again on my mac. Now the game is great again! Amazing! Thank you Simple Planes makers for listening to our calls of help!

Uploading and downloading was the only thing making this game not fun and five stars. I think it should get five stars now that it is fixed.

Over all the game is very fun. There were a few polish issues that I encountered, one of them probably being user-error. - Main gripe is the ‘wobbliness’ of the aircraft (using the predefined ones), especially on pitch and yaw. I realize this might be to help debounce user input - and it is very forgiving (which is positive), but generally once I stop input, it should only do a little bit of correction. Obviously this is probably a hard problem due to the dynamic nature of the aircraft, but it does make it tougher to fly. Perhaps this could be corrected by adding more weight to the back of the plane. Also, using yaw tends to send the craft into a roll, which is not very accurate IMO. - Elastic scrolling on Mac is very touchy and over sensitive. On any of the list views, you scroll just a tiny bit and the items fly past. It’s not broken, just touchy. - Couldn’t figure out how to rotate blocks in editor mode, and it doesn’t seem to be mentioned in the docs. Tried modifier keys but to no avail. Would be nice to hold shift or ctrl while the part is selected, and then move the mouse around and the part would rotate in place. I’m a developer so I only notice negative things, but like I said the game is very enjoyable otherwise. Minecraft meets planes, something I always wanted as a kid.

Wow, this was definitely worth the wait! Far beyond what I thought possible with a $5 “game", this has beautiful graphics and awesome physics/flight simulation. I wont even call this a game, as its light years beyond a simple time killer. I can already tell Im gonna be losing lots of sleeping playing with this app! GET IT!!! Its easily worth $20...

Have you ever flight a plane? If so, get this little crazy game. It’s like lego but on you Mac and you can actually see how your creation comes to live… well virtually. But thats still kinda of awesome.

i opened to play it once then i onpened it again but it didnt open and my dock disappeared?

The new version is simply awesome. The only bad thing is that some trick works before no longer useful

very good for its price, it is very addictive and educational

I saw the game on YouTube and was really excited to download it but many of the things that I saw were not included, like bombs, parts, and many more. It’s a fun game but i hope in the next update they add more of the stuff that you can get from steam.

many of the others reveiws state what im about to say but why is the version I see on youtube different than ours.

i own this game on the iphone and it recently got an update that added guns and missles. i was wondering when that would come to OS X

Can you make it work for 10.9.5 pls I bought this game and I would really like to play the game. When I open it it crashes ;(

hi so i love the game its super fun but when i want to delete the defult cockpit that you start with when building a new plane i grab it to try and drop it in the trash box thing the trash box doesn’t show up.
